Grimsby Institute’s Seafood School is a hands‑on training hub dedicated to celebrating the region’s rich fishing heritage and teaching the next generation of chefs the craft of working with fresh, sustainable seafood.

Based at the heart of one of the UK’s most historic fishing towns, the school blends industry expertise with real‑world learning, offering students the chance to develop professional skills in filleting, preparation, flavour pairing and coastal cuisine. As part of the Festival of the Sea, Seafood School students will step into the spotlight with a live cooking demonstration, showcasing their talent, creativity and passion for Grimsby’s world‑class seafood traditions.
