What time does it run from and until?
11am – 5pm.
Where is it held?
Festival of the Sea takes place within Grimsby’s Town Centre: the waterfront outside the Fishing Heritage Centre and Riverhead Square.
Where can I park?
We encourage visitors to travel without a car, using public transport instead, where possible. Blue Badge holders may park in any on-street pay & display bay or council-owned car park without payment of parking charges in accordance with the terms of use for their blue badges. The nearest Blue Badge parking available is at Cartergate Car Park.
What is the nearest station?
Grimsby Town Train Station. This is about five minutes walk from the festival site.
What ages is Festival of the Sea suitable for?
All ages!
Is there food available?
Yes, there will be a selection of street food vendors, artisan market and a bar.
Are there toilets?
Yes, we have portaloo toilets, including an accessible toilet with a hoist.
Will there be anywhere to sit on the day?
Yes, there will be benches and deck chairs available on a first come, first served basis.
Can I bring my dog?
The festival site is public access. If bringing a dog, please do keep them on a lead.
Is the site accessible for wheelchairs, prams?
Yes and can be accessed using public footpaths from the town centre.
This year, we also provide accessible portable toilets from Mobiloo.

What if I have other access requirements?
You can speak to our Access Manager at any time who will be based at the Information Point at Riverhead Square. Our activities are designed to be as accessible as possible.
