Rachel’s connection to Grimsby fish and seafood runs deep. Growing up on the Lincolnshire coast, fresh fish was a big part of family life, and the sea continues to inspire her cooking today.

She also worked with the Sea Fish Industry Authority, developing recipes and showing people just how easy, delicious, and nutritious seafood can be. Whether she’s creating simple midweek meals, sharing recipes on television, or demonstrating sustainable ways to cook with Britain’s incredible seafood, Rachel brings the same passion, knowledge and straight-talking style that has made her one of the country’s most trusted food champions. 

A passionate campaigner for local and seasonal produce, award-winning chef Rachel has fronted national food campaigns, written bestselling cookbooks, and hosted four TV series. She recently appeared on TV with Rick Stein and John Craven, showcasing the best Lincolnshire has to offer. She’s known for her bold flavours, proper no-fuss cooking, and deep respect for where food comes from.
