Seafood NEL Food Map Guided Tour by Connor Stannard

Have a taste of what North East Lincolnshire has to offer!

Our Food Map includes venues across North East Lincolnshire, that proudly create dishes using local produce, you can explore the trail in your own time but for the Festival of the Sea 2025 on Saturday 21st of June, we’re also offering a special guided seafood tour! For this Festival, we’ve selected local businesses from the food map that use seafood on their menus, hosted by local tour guide Connor Stannard you’ll be making stops at; PAL, Bare Street Kitchen, Axios Greek & Mediterranean and The Arc.

The tour will start at 11am at Abbeygate and finish at 12.30pm at Riverhead square, the perfect place to start exploring the rest of our Festival!


TIMETABLE:

11am – Meeting down Abbeygate + introductions

11.05 – PAL Bar and Kitchen

11.25 – BARE Street Kitchen

11.45 – Walk to Axios

11.55 – Axios Greek & Mediterranean Kitchen

12.15 – The Arc stall

12.30 – Finish

All Things Good And Nice Canoeing for Two With The Canoe River Cleaner 

As part of our commitment to inclusion and accessibility, the festival is offering the chance for everyone to experience the excitement of water sports—completely free of charge.

Join us at the Waterfront for a day of canoeing, with five 20-minute sessions running throughout the day. Whether you’re a first-timer or just want to enjoy some time on the water, this activity is open to all—especially those who might not usually have the opportunity to take part.

Come along, paddle out, and discover the joy of canoeing in a supportive and welcoming environment!
