Seafood-Themed Chalk Drawing Competition – In Partnership with TARGET NEL
Get creative on the pavement in our Seafood-Themed Chalk Drawing Competition, delivered in collaboration with TARGET NEL (North East Lincolnshire) – a local initiative focused on improving health and wellbeing across the region through education, community engagement, and fun, inclusive activities.

This colourful competition invites children, young people, and families to take part in creating bold, imaginative chalk artworks inspired by seafood, ocean life, and healthy living. From fantastic fish to delicious dishes, we want to see your take on all things under the sea!

All materials will be provided, and there will be small prizes for the most creative and eye-catching designs. It’s a fun, free way to learn about healthy eating while expressing yourself through art—right on the streets of your community.

No experience needed—just come along, grab some chalk, and make your mark!

Dive into creativity and learn about the benefits of seafood and healthy eating in our fun, family-friendly art and craft sessions!

In this engaging workshop, participants will explore different types of seafood and discover their nutritional value through an interactive talk. We’ll discuss how seafood can be part of a healthy lifestyle while also highlighting the importance of sustainable choices.

Then, join us in creating a vibrant Ocean Mural filled with sea creatures, underwater scenes, and positive healthy eating messages. Everyone is invited to add their own artwork to the mural—whether it’s a colourful fish, a favourite seafood dish, or a slogan promoting wellbeing and ocean care.

Perfect for children and families, this creative session is all about learning through making, with a splash of fun and a wave of inspiration!

TARGET NEL CIC aims to enhance children’s physical and mental well-being through creative media, featuring local history and heritage. Designed to include youth leadership, our programs educate, foster pride in the environment and stimulate future aspirations in young people.
