On the festival day itself, Phoenix from the trashes will host 6 hours of interactive origami boat-making, using printed sail fabrics and logos. These boats will offer an international twist to the event and can be taken home or added to the display.

REDSAIL duo Alex and Sam will run a pop-up poetry stall, writing patchwork poetry in collaboration with the Grimsby public – inviting the public to give lines of poetry, phrases or couplets relating to Grimsby’s heritage and cuisine. They will then compile the words given and create Grimsby’s latest poetry epic.

In this engaging workshop, participants will explore different types of seafood and discover their nutritional value through an interactive talk. We’ll discuss how seafood can be part of a healthy lifestyle while also highlighting the importance of sustainable choices.
