Blending street theatre with seaside tradition, The Fairly Fresh Fish Co. weave through the crowd offering what appears to be the classic fare of a seafood stall. But take a closer look – all is not as it seems! Expect surprises, laughter, and a delightfully fishy twist that will keep the whole family entertained.

Beautiful undersea beast based on the ancient deep sea isopods. Iso is a striking animated large scale puppet for outdoor performance measuring over 7 metres long and 5 metres high.

The Lionfish by Artemis Productions

Lionel and Leona are a pair of Lionfish and can often be seen swimming in urban environments looking for friendly people to interact with. They especially love visiting towns by the sea and are looking forward to meeting the people of Grimsby at Festival.of the Sea. Come and say hi, grab a photo, they don’t bite!

Pirate Brass Band by Bandanarama

Born and bred in the vibrant city of Hull, Bananarama has woven itself into the very fabric of the local music scene. With a unique blend of catchy tunes with sing along choruses.
 
Bandanarama’s sound is a delightful fusion of indie rock and pop influences, reflecting the diverse musical tastes of a dynamic group of musicians, each bringing their own flair and creativity to the mix.  
Dressed like a mob of bikers and rock gods whatever the weather, Bandanarama are a community street band, specialising in procession, parade and walkabout performance, but also do birthdays weddings, corporate/private events and funerals.  The band  is a mix of brass, wind, percussion, strings, and voice. They play an eclectic mash-up of disco, rock, indie, pop and big band classics with a bit of um-pa thrown in, guaranteed to get your toes tapping, as they strut their stuff through the crowd.

Bandanarama are a street band, we bring a high energy sound, which is a fusion of indie, rock and pop, with New Orleans vibes.
 
We are a community street band, specialising in procession, parades and festivals. We have been performing in Hull and East Riding since 2015.
The sound of trumpets, saxophones, sousaphones, trombones, flutes and drums, playing popular tunes, always gets people singing, dancing and having fun.
 
Our Motto is Simple.  
It Must be Fun!
