The People’s Poem Pop Up

REDSAIL duo Alex and Sam will run a pop-up poetry stall, writing patchwork poetry in collaboration with the Grimsby public – inviting the public to give lines of poetry, phrases or couplets relating to Grimsby’s heritage and cuisine. They will then compile the words given and create Grimsby’s latest poetry epic.

Once fully formatted and edited, they will make this poem available to read online, attributing the authorship to the entirety of Grimsby Town – but that’s not all!

For those hungry to take home their own slice of poetry, Alex & Sam will offer a short “Quippy Tea” menu option, a takeaway poem written-to-go! They can’t wait to take your order.
